Digitization of royal craftsmanship: with the Royal Master Edition, porcelain masterpieces become NFTs. KPM and Sleek presented how the handmade icons and virtual images fit together at a well-attended vernissage.

Extravagant, eclectic, masterfully crafted: the Royal Master Edition of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory contains five icons of porcelain craftsmanship. Over 130 guests came to admire this top-class collection in Studio 1763. Together with Sleek, KPM invited guests to the launch and talk: Sleek boss Christian Bracht interviewed Jenja Carow (Head of Marketing & Sales at KPM Berlin) and Jörg Woltmann (owner of KPM Berlin) about the groundbreaking new collection.

Unique pieces were shown - from Rococo to New Objectivity, each of which comes with an NFT as a digital certificate of authenticity. The idea arose as part of the manufacturer's 260th birthday last year, so that in addition to the certificates, 260 NFTs (priced at 260 euros) were developed that can be purchased independently of the physical work of art. An investment that is just as timeless as the handmade pieces from KPM Berlin.

So full that people even gathered outside.

Judging by the enthusiastic conversations, the special highlight for the guests (including fashion designer Esther Perbandt and photographer Kristian Schuller) was one piece in particular: the golden speech vase , whose masterful engraving looked like a retro-futuristic 3D postcard.
