Discover the world of Berlin’s porcelain together with our KPM tour guides. Vitis our exhibition space and the production halls. Experience a journey through the manufactory’s history, it‘s production and design. Please choose your favourite theme.
Visit the holy chambers - the heart of the manufactory, and get an exclusive insight behind the scenes of KPM. Follow every single production steps and experience up close how the elaborate models of the iconic porcelain pieces are created, how craftsmen precisely garnish every single piece, cast delicate vases and how each individual piece is glazed by hand before the "white gold" is finally completed in all its splendour.
In a combination of guided tour and workshop, you can gain an insight into the history and production of porcelain and then deepen your newly acquired knowledge in a suitable workshop. As an equivalent for our younger guest we provide our child-oriented combination „Minis on Tour“.
OPENING HOURS
The public exhibition space is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm.
The flagship store on the gallery level of the ringchamber kiln hall is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Please note that the store and exhibition areas are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
