The impressive 2.0 liter soup tureen from the URBINO series by KPM not only keeps its contents warm for a longer period of time. As a centerpiece, it is also an unmissable design statement on the stylishly laid table. It can be combined equally well with the URBINO soup plates or the URBINO soupsoup cups .

A hand-drawn, filigree black frame of the Canto decor emphasizes the reduced circular shape that underlies the aesthetics of the URBINO collection by Trude Petri and brings its balanced form to life on the table.

Care

To ensure that you can enjoy the delicate, masterfully hand-painted designs for a lifetime, we recommend handling them with care. The painted porcelain is generally dishwasher-safe; however, it is best to wash it by hand on a regular basis to prevent the colors from fading due to overly frequent machine washing over an extended period of time.

The painted porcelain is also microwave-safe.

In 1931, Trude Petri designed the URBINO collection. Its clarity and aesthetics, created through consistent omission, are based on the most balanced of all forms: the circle. Inspiration was also provided by the Upper Italian Renaissance and the Italian city of Urbino as the namesake of the collection. The special thinness of the pieces conveys a delicate lightness that supports everyday enjoyment.
