250 YEARS OF QUEEN LUISE

On the occasion of the milestone birthday of Queen Luise of Prussia , KPM Berlin is reissuing the neoclassical bust. Created in 1798 by Johann Carl Frederick in 1798 is modeled after thePrinzessinnengruppeby Johann Gottfried Schadow and depicts the queen in a flowing gown, without regalia, exuding timeless dignity. Limited to ten copies. Complementing this is the Heritage Édition Luise, featuring five handcrafted objects whose designs are inspired by Paretz Palace, feature floral motifs from the late 18th century. Individually numbered and strictly limited.

DESIGN BASED ON FUNCTION

Inspired by KPM laboratory porcelain from the 20th century, chief designer Thomas Wenzel created the multifunctional LAB series in 2015. It stands for technically minimalist forms and the precise interplay of smooth and velvety-matt porcelain surfaces.
