The colors are applied using a labor-intensive hand-spraying process in the KPM Master Painting workshop. Fired into the glaze at approximately 1,200 degrees, the hues reveal their unique radiance and depth.
A subtle yet striking detail lends this edition its unique appeal: the rim, which is otherwise barely noticeable, is accentuated by KPM Berlin’s master painters through precise, handcrafted work using a contrasting color. This creates an interplay of surface and line that lends the objects a surprising sense of spatial depth.
