History

designer: Trude Petri year: 1967 material: porcelain

The Cadre vase is the last shape developed by Trude Petri for KPM Berlin, whose entry in the 1967 model book can still be found under the name 'Vase Tea'. This is because the Cadre shape was originally developed after 1945 as a tea caddy with a lid for the URBINO service. From 1984, the vase was referred to as 'Quadre' in reference to its shape, and today it is simply called 'Cadre'.
