The Far Eastern wisdom of Zen was the inspiration for the addition to Trude Petri's famous URBINO porcelain service created by the KPM workshop. Like the original design, the four-piece ZEN bowl set is also based on the basic shapes of the circle and sphere and therefore harmonizes perfectly with all the other pieces in the URBINO dinner, tea and coffee service series. With a volume of 0.75 liters, the ZEN bowl 2 is suitable for cereal, soups or Asian rice and noodle dishes.

In 1931, Trude Petri designed the URBINO collection. Its clarity and aesthetics, created through consistent omission, are based on the most balanced of all forms: the circle. Inspiration was also provided by the Upper Italian Renaissance and the Italian city of Urbino as the namesake of the collection. The special thinness of the pieces conveys a delicate lightness that supports everyday enjoyment.
