In 1931, Trude Petri designed the URBINO collection. Its clarity and aesthetics, created through consistent omission, are based on the most balanced of all forms: the circle. Inspiration was also provided by the Upper Italian Renaissance and the Italian city of Urbino as the namesake of the collection. The special thinness of the pieces conveys a delicate lightness that supports everyday enjoyment.

The elegant functionality of the shapes derived from the circle and sphere is still as relevant today as it was at the time of its creation in 1931. The coffee pot from the KPM URBINO service reflects the full genius of the design. With a capacity of 1.2 liters, the large coffee pot from the URBINO service by KPM Berlin can hold up to ten URBINO coffee cups or five URBINO breakfast cups. Note: No lid is included.

The gently curved shapes of the URBINO collection are emphasized in decor 11 by a minimalist staffage of genuine shiny platinum. A ribbon drawn by a practiced hand wraps around the circular pieces in the collection and makes plates, bowls and cups shine with a unique sense of style.
