The KPM+ Edition by artist Anna Haifisch is extended by a LAB Cup Duo Set No. 1 - presented by SZ Magazin.
Frederick the Great had two great loves: Porcelain and dogs. In the second KPM+ edition, artist and comic artist Anna Haifisch focuses on Frederick's wind chime Biche and the dwarf spaniel Folichon belonging to his sister Wilhelmine of Prussia. The so-called dog letters were created in May 1748. In the name of his greyhound Biche, the Prussian king wrote heart-rending sentences to the little dwarf spaniel Folichon. Wilhelmine replied with longing lines for Folichon ("the little madman").
Anna Haifisch transports the eccentric pen-pal relationship and the intimate sibling love to the LAB cup No. 1 with her usual humor. Biche and Folichon cuddle up - quite the pampered, royal darlings - in a drawn blue line under soft blankets and on fluffy cushions against a white background.
NOTE: The decors of the edition were applied by the KPM master painters in a hand-printing process in accordance with the artist's wishes and are therefore very robust and dishwasher-safe.
