Commissioned by Peter von Biron, Duke of Kurland, a series in strict classical form, following the new aesthetic, was created in Berlin around 1790, which was to become an icon of the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin: KURLAND. Its form is a tribute to the ideals and design of the ancient world. Objectivity, austerity and symmetry combine to create a noble, self-contained and timeless form – probably the most important porcelain collection of Classicism.

Designed by KPM head designer Thomas Wenzel, who also designed the iconic To-go cup , the box now also shows that the classicist KURLAND relief made of cloth hangings, egg sticks and pearls is a timeless classic - naturally made by hand at the historic manufactory site in Berlin-Tiergarten.
Note: Transporting liquids in the To-go box is not recommended. The lid must be removed before use in the oven or microwave. Like the To-go cup , the To-go box is also dishwasher-safe.
