designer: Siegmund Schütz year: 1963/ 1967 material: Porzellan

Siegmund Schütz designed the box for KPM's 200th birthday in 1963, albeit originally with a medallion depicting Frederick II. The Brandenburg Gate medallion was not created until four years later and has adorned the lid of the box since 1967.
