Tealight

BERLIN Tealight, large

White

285,00€

With its wide, flared walls, the tealight imitates the shape of the cups and bowls from the BERLIN collection, making the candle holder the perfect table decoration to complement the service. However, even independently of the BERLIN service, the semi-openwork tealight is an eye-catcher, whether at a romantic candlelight dinner or as illumination at a garden party. The curved openings of the good eight-centimeter-tall candle holder allow the light of the candle to shine through.

History

designer: Enzo Mari year: 1996 material: Porcelain

The BERLIN collection achieves what only the city that lends its name to this unconventional design can: creating something beautiful from the symbiosis of contradictions. Developed in 1996 by the Italian designer Enzo Mari in collaboration with the designers at KPM Berlin, it harmoniously combines opposites, just as its designer once did.

Product description

With its wide, flared walls, the tealight imitates the shape of the cups and bowls from the BERLIN collection, making the candle holder the perfect table decoration to complement the service. However, even independently of the BERLIN service, the semi-openwork tealight is an eye-catcher, whether at a romantic candlelight dinner or as illumination at a garden party. The curved openings of the good eight-centimeter-tall candle holder allow the light of the candle to shine through. Thus, the shapely pattern stands out as a play of light on the tablecloth. To achieve this effect, the cuts for the openings are individually placed by hand in the still-soft porcelain.
