FOR THE 65TH BIRTHDAY OF THE SANDMAN IS SOLD OUT
The celebrations surrounding the Sandman's 65th birthday are entering their second round. Just in time for the anniversary on November 22nd, KPM Berlin, in cooperation with rbb media, is launching the figure "Our Sandman" in the white edition - just like its predecessor in gold, strictly limited to 65 copies.

Developed in collaboration with rbb media, the figure is a fusion of contemporary design and centuries-old craft tradition. Handcrafted from high-quality porcelain in the 261-year-old factory, it is individually numbered by hand. This figure is a modern interpretation by KPM chief designer Thomas Wenzel, who adapted Gerhard Behrendt's original Sandman figure from 1960 for the material porcelain.

The Edition Weiss follows the Edition Gold, a limited edition of 65 pieces of the iconic figure, which was hand-painted with 24-carat shiny gold in the KPM master painting studio and was sold out within a very short time as a sought-after collector's item down to the last copy.
