Benoît François is a French, multidisciplinary artist. Porcelain has always been on the list of materials that particularly appealed to him, which is why he has now redesigned a KPM salt and pepper set for the second time in cooperation with SZ-Magazin. After the successful debut of the limited-edition shakers in spring 2022, Benoît is now re-labeling the mills in the LAB collection. Two hand flatterers that are formally so similar "that you can hardly tell in the dark whether you are holding salt or pepper in your hand."

The spice grindr set "NOT SALT, NOT PEPPER" is limited to 100 sets.

In addition to classical illustrations, Benoît François also works with visual arts such as animations and installations. One of his videos was shown as part of an exhibition at the London Tate Gallery of Modern Art. In 2022, he created a video animation for Hermès to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

His illustrations have appeared in Vogue, the New York Times, the Paris Review and, of course, the Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, among others.
