Notes on cookies
Cookies are text files that are stored on the user's computer when they visit a website. KPM uses so-called session cookies, which are immediately deleted when the browser is closed. These allow you to conveniently enjoy the cross-page shopping cart display, for example, in which you can see how many items are currently in your shopping cart and how tall your current purchase value is. In addition, KPM also uses cookies that are used beyond the session ("cross-session cookies"). These cookies in particular serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Thanks to these files, it is possible, for example, to display information on the site that is specifically tailored to your interests. The sole purpose is therefore to adapt our offer to your customer wishes in the best possible way and to make your surfing with us as comfortable as possible.
Web tracking
On this website, information about the surfing behavior of website visitors is collected and stored in anonymized form for marketing purposes. This data is stored on your computer using so-called cookie text files and allows us to analyze surfing behavior in anonymized form. For example, the city from which a website visitor comes, which browser type and operating system the website visitor uses and which pages they have visited on the website. Under no circumstances can the data collected be used to personally identify the visitor to this website. The data collected is only used to improve the website. For this reason, all IP addresses are shortened so that IP addresses are only processed in anonymized form. They are not used for any other purpose or passed on to third parties.
Google website analysis tool
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). You can find more information on this at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or www.google.de/intl/de/policies/ (general information on Google Analytics and data protection). We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" in order to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
This website also uses the Google Signals service as an extension of Google Analytics. With Google Signals, we can have Google create cross-device reports (so-called "cross-device tracking"). If you have activated "personalized ads" in your Google account settings and you have linked your internet-enabled devices to your Google account, Google can analyze user behavior across devices and create database models based on this if you have given your consent to the use of Google Analytics in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR (see above). The logins
and device types of all site visitors who were logged into a Google account and carried out a conversion are taken into account. The data shows, among other things, on which device you clicked on an ad for the first time and on which device the associated conversion took place. We do not receive any personal data from Google, but only statistics compiled on the basis of Google Signals. You have the option of deactivating the "personalized ads" function in the settings of your Google account and thus deactivating the cross-device analysis. To do this, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=de

If you are logged into Meta at the same time, this information is assigned to your Meta account and can therefore be linked to you personally. The same naturally applies if you use the plug-ins (click on the Like button) or leave comments. You can find more information on this at www.meta.com/help/. Klaviyo service
We use Klaviyo on our website. Klaviyo is a service for our email marketing. The service provider is the American company Klaviyo, 125 Summer St, Boston, MA 02110, USA. Klaviyo also processes personal data in the USA, among other places. We must point out that, according to the decision of the European Court of Justice and the opinion of the Conference of Independent Federal and State Data Protection Supervisory Authorities of July 28, 2020 (Schrems 2), there is currently no adequate level of data protection for data transfers to the USA. This may entail various risks for the legality and security of data protection. Klaviyo uses standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission (= Art. 46 para. 2 and 3 GDPR) as the basis for data processing with recipients based in third countries (outside the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and in particular in the USA) or for data transfer there. These clauses oblige Klaviyo to comply with the EU level of data protection when processing relevant data outside the European Union. These clauses are based on an implementing decision of the EU Commission. You can find the decision and the relevant clauses here, among other places: ec.europa.eu/germany/news/20210604-datentransfers-eu_en For more information about the personal data processed by Klaviyo, please refer to the privacy policy at www.klaviyo.com/privacy/policy
