Color as a statement, form as the essence: With the “Vide Poche Polychrome” edition, KPM Berlin reimagines a classic—minimalist in form, yet striking in effect.
The colors are applied using a labor-intensive hand-spraying process in the KPM Master Painting workshop. Fired into the glaze at approximately 1,200 degrees, the hues reveal their unique radiance and depth.
A subtle yet striking detail lends this edition its unique appeal: the rim, which is otherwise barely noticeable, is accentuated by KPM Berlin’s master painters through precise, handcrafted work using a contrasting color. This creates an interplay of surface and line that lends the objects a surprising sense of spatial depth.
Whether displayed on its own or arranged in a trio, the “Vide Poche Polychrome” becomes a sculptural interior piece. It showcases the “nécessités de la vie”—keys, coins, and small everyday items—with equal style, while also adding an elegant touch as a tray on the coffee table or a jewelry dish in the bathroom.
