Vase HALLE 2

Following the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus in 2019, the aesthetic and formal design principles of that era continue to demonstrate their enduring relevance and appeal. For this reason, the “ KPM Berlin ” is once again showcasing its Bauhaus porcelain with the b100.1 collection and, through these masterfully hand-painted pieces, pays homage to timeless classical modernism. The Bauhaus icon in the “ KPM Berlin ” design portfolio is the HALLE vase series, developed in 1930 by Marguerite Friedlaender-Wildenhain. Its design captivates with clean lines, balanced proportions, and the harmonious symbiosis of the geometric shapes—the sphere and the cone. The linear, hand-painted “ decor ” in gray, black, iron red, and 24-karat gold was inspired by a design from the 1920s by the artist Professor Ernst Böhm (1890–1963).
