Vase HALLE 2

The archives of the KPM Berlin hold treasures spanning more than 250 years of the manufactory’s history. Porcelain pieces as well as painting templates and studies are preserved there and meticulously maintained. Over the centuries, artists and designers have left their mark at the KPM Berlin , providing a cornucopia of inspiration that continues to this day. The limited-edition 2022 Atelier Edition is the result of the reissue, adaptation, and further development of some of these treasures from the KPM archive. Classic KPM vases from various stylistic eras serve as the formal backdrop. The “ decor BÄNDER” was inspired by Ernst Böhm’s 1928 design. In his typical manner, Böhm developed the “ decor ” to complement a square vase he had designed. For the 2022 Atelier Edition, it was adapted to Friedlaender’s “HALLE” vase in new color variations. Behind the seemingly simple “ decor ” lies a great deal of detailed work. For example, two painter’s marks can be seen on the underside of each vase. Annette Rother and Stefanie Hammes craft the colored bands in “ blue,” “Purple,” or “Green.” The delicate golden rings are added by Claudia Felgendreher. Limited edition: 75 pieces
