The URBINO-side dish bowl , from the “ KPM Berlin ” collection, playfully reinterprets the spherical and circular shapes characteristic of the famous KPM service. It is also a contemporary interpretation of the so-called “Cabarets” of the 19th century—the name given at the time to the bowls divided in the middle, which were also produced by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory. The URBINOside dish bowl serves a dual purpose: it is both a practical container for pastries, confections, or side dishes and a timeless design object.
The gently curved forms of the URBINO collection are accentuated in the “ decor 11” by minimalist trim made of genuine glossy platinum. A band, hand-drawn by a skilled artisan, wraps around the circular pieces of the collection, making the plates, bowls, and cups shine with unique stylistic confidence.
