The LAB To-go Box made of handmade porcelain is a cultivated and sustainable companion for everyday life. Thanks to its capacity of 1.1 liters and an airtight lid, the porcelain lunch box is perfect for moments of enjoyment on the go or for stylish food storage in your refrigerator at home.
Inspired by the KPM laboratory porcelain of the 20th century, head designer Thomas Wenzel created the multifunctional series in 2015. The To-go box impresses with its minimalist, technical design language and the series' characteristic feel of velvety and smooth porcelain textures: while the upper section of the box is glazed, the lower section has no glaze. The mix of matt biscuit porcelain and smooth glazed porcelain makes the box a special tactile experience.
The clear, minimalist, almost openwork Enso border design breaks with the tradition of the classic, evenly colored border. In Japanese calligraphy, Enso means something like: enlightenment and elegance, strength and harmony. It is a brushstroke that is applied richly and pastily in a single movement and loses strength as it progresses. This shape was the inspiration for the decor Enso, which brings original accents to the LAB collection and to the table in various colors.
Note: The transportation of liquids is not recommended. The lid must be removed before use in the oven and microwave.
