The minimalist, technical design language of the LAB series is inspired by the KPM laboratory porcelain of the 20th century and has been consistently developed for the modern kitchen laboratory by head designer Thomas Wenzel since 2015. The multifunctional line impresses both with its timeless design and its exceptional feel. All members of the constantly growing LAB family can be recognized by the chrome green stamp mark and the lettering "BERLIN".

With the LAB series, KPM head designer Thomas Wenzel has created a timeless product family of multifunctional aesthetics and minimalism for the modern kitchen. Inspired by the technical porcelain produced by the manufactory in the 20th century, the pieces in the LAB series are adorned with the lettering "BERLIN" and a stamp mark, the chrome-green color of which was already used to identify laboratory porcelain at the time.
Since the launch of the LAB series in 2016, an award-winning coffee filter and delicate mugs have been successively supplemented by purist bowls, plates, tins, a tea pot and kitchen accessories such as a mortar and pestle duo and a pair of spice mills. Thanks to their technical character, the LAB spice products inspire creativity in the kitchen.
With the new spice rack, Wenzel is now adding another all-rounder from this category to the LAB universe.
The spice rack made of high-quality real wood organizes five spice containers, whose contrasting materials of fine glass and robust, smooth-glazed porcelain showcase spices and herbs. Airtightly sealed by a plastic stopper, the spice rack acts as a functional, culinary helper and purist centerpiece in the experimental kitchen.
