Care

To preserve the beauty of KPM Berlin’s delicate porcelain for generations to come, we recommend handling it with care and gentleness. Use a soft, dry cloth or a soft-bristled brush to remove dust from the porcelain.

If the porcelain is heavily soiled, you can clean it with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Use a soft cloth and avoid applying pressure to delicate details. Then rinse the porcelain with clean water and dry it gently.

History
Designer: Johann Gottfried Schadow
Year: 1822
Material: Porcelain
The biscuit porcelain portrait bust shows a detail from the bronze statuette of Frederick the Great with wind chimes, which Schadow designed in 1821/22. Frederick the Great is depicted in uniform, medal sash and tricorn hat. This bust was often copied in other materials and is still very popular today.
Gift wrapping

Have your porcelain gift-wrapped in royal blue paper with an elegant white bow. To do so, add "Gift Wrapping" to your selection in the shopping cart.

You can also include a greeting card with your order, which we can handwrite with your personal message upon request.
