A Bouquet in Blue: With the “Édition Bleuet,” KPM is launching an airy blue cornflower design. The cornflower—as simple and unassuming as it may seem—was Queen Louise’s favorite flower; she wove wreaths with her children, and Frederick William adorned her grave with fresh flowers. Reason enough for KPM to transfer the blossoms onto the to-go cup with an almost transparent brushstroke. The “ KURLAND ” BLANC NOUVEAU to-go cup from the “Édition Bleuet” collection is a practical companion for on the go; its completely leak-proof lid, made of high-quality thermoplastic elastomer, is free of plasticizers and dishwasher-safe. This reusable cup helps reduce waste in a sustainable way. The “Édition Bleuet” to-go cup comes with a white KPM to-go sleeve and a white KPM to-go carrier. Both accessories are made of leather, making the to-go cup a truly special companion. This “Édition Bleuet” To-Go cup is strictly limited to a run of 100 pieces.

Care

To ensure that you can enjoy the delicate, masterfully hand-painted designs for a lifetime, we recommend handling them with care. The painted porcelain is generally dishwasher-safe; however, it is best to wash it by hand regularly to prevent the colors from fading due to overly frequent machine washing over an extended period. The painted porcelain is also suitable for use in the microwave.

Please note that when cleaning the lid in the dishwasher, contact with foods with very intense colors may cause discoloration. We therefore recommend washing it by hand as a precaution. The lid is not microwave-safe.

To mark the 250th anniversary of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin, Chief Designer Thomas Wenzel created this collection, offering a fresh way to experience the iconic “ KURLAND ” relief, which has been in existence since 1790: To bring out the relief with the utmost precision, the glaze is carefully removed by hand.
