Product Information

The ragout bowl with lid from KPM Berlin’s “ KURLAND ” Blanc Nouveau series is an eye-catching piece that transforms any set table into a festive banquet. The interplay of light and shadow unfolds in all its beauty on the wide relief borders of bisque porcelain on both the bowl and the lid. As a standalone piece, the ragout bowl pairs beautifully with the white “ KURLAND ” service. The “ KURLAND ” service was named in the 19th century after its patron, Peter von Biron, Duke of Kurland . English silver served as the design inspiration for its characteristic antique relief. The service quickly gained enthusiastic admirers not only in the Prussian royal court but also in private households. Today, “ KURLAND ” can also be found in German embassies and in high-end restaurants.
