An interplay of light and shadow, smooth surfaces and velvety texture: the beauty of KURLAND BLANC NOUVEAU can be experienced with closed eyes and is a sensual delight in pure white or refined with exclusive hand-painting. To mark the 250th anniversary of the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin, head designer Thomas Wenzel created the collection and brought the iconic KURLAND, which has existed since 1790, to life in a new way: the glaze is removed by hand to bring out the relief to perfection.

The ragout bowl with lid from the KURLAND Blanc Nouveau series by KPM Berlin is an eye-catcher that transforms every table setting into a festive table. The wide biscuit porcelain relief borders on the bowl and lid allow the interplay of light and shadow to unfold in all its beauty. The KURLAND service was named after its patron Peter von Biron, Duke of Kurland , in the 19th century. English silver served as the design model for the characteristic antique relief. The service quickly found enthusiastic fans in the Prussian royal family as well as in private households. Today, KURLAND can also be found in German embassies and in top gastronomy.
