KPM Berlin With “Westberlin,” the gallery presents a collaboration between artist Frederick Liechtenstein and KPM Berlin , owned by Jörg Woltmann. The edition pays homage to Enzo Mari’s iconic BERLIN collection, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026, as well as to the spirit and cultural identity of historic West Berlin.
The collaboration began with Frederick Liechtenstein’s song “Westberlin,” whose atmospheric portrayal of a defining era in the city’s history evoked personal memories for Jörg Woltmann. Their shared fascination with the spirit of that time gave rise to the idea of a collection that blends history, the present, and design.
With “Westberlin,” the BERLIN series becomes a canvas for a visual and cultural statement: a striking red border contrasts with the radiant white of the porcelain, and the “Westberlin” lettering references a groundbreaking era in the city’s history that continues to resonate today.
The plates have diameters of 225 mm and 280 mm.
