Vide Poche

Color as a statement, form as the essence: With the “Vide Poche Polychrome” edition, KPM Berlin reimagines a classic—minimalist in form, yet expressive in effect. The color scheme is created through an elaborate hand-spraying process in the KPM Master Painters’ Workshop. Fired into the glaze at approximately 1,200 degrees, the hues reveal their unique radiance and depth. A subtle yet defining detail lends this edition its unique appeal: the rim, otherwise barely noticeable, is accentuated by the master painters at KPM Berlin with a contrasting color in precise, handcrafted work. This creates an interplay of surface and line that lends the objects a surprising sense of spatial depth. Whether displayed as a single piece or arranged in a trio, the “Vide Poche Polychrome” becomes a sculptural interior piece. It stylishly showcases the “nécessités de la vie”—keys, coins, and small everyday items—just as elegantly as it adds a sophisticated touch when used as a tray on the coffee table or as a jewelry bowl in the bathroom.
