The HALLE vase series, created by Marguerite Friedlaender-Wildenhain in 1930 during the heyday of the Bauhaus, embodies the tradition of ceramic craftsmanship of the Bauhaus era. Characteristic of the designer’s early work are its clean lines, strict proportions, and the harmonious fusion of spheres and cones in the vase’s form.
