The HALLE vase group, created by Marguerite Friedlaender-Wildenhain in 1930 during the Bauhaus's heyday, represents the ceramic craftsmanship tradition of the Bauhaus years. Characteristic of the designer's early work are its clear lines, strict proportions, and the harmonious fusion of sphere and cone in the shape of the vase.
