Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Zen, the KPM workshop created new shapes to complement Trude Petri's famous URBINO service. With ZEN, too, the truth comes from within. The result is a set of four bowls, reduced to the essentials and seamlessly integrated into the URBINO design language. The smallest of them, the 0.22 liter ZEN bowl 1, is just the right size for dessert, rice or side dishes.

In 1931, Trude Petri designed the URBINO collection. Its clarity and aesthetics, created through consistent omission, are based on the most balanced of all forms: the circle. Inspiration was also provided by the Upper Italian Renaissance and the Italian city of Urbino as the namesake of the collection. The special thinness of the pieces conveys a delicate lightness that supports everyday enjoyment.
