Product Information

The 0.15-liter “ ZEN ” mug by KPM Berlin was created as part of a multifunctional porcelain series that the KPM workshop designed to complement Trude Petri’s famous “ URBINO ” service. Its harmonious shape makes it suitable for use both as a mug and as a small container for sauces or dips. When paired with the small or large “ URBINO ” pitcher, the “ ZEN ” mugs form a drinking set that is as elegant as it is luxurious.

History

Designer: Trude Petri

Year: 1931

Material: Porcelain

In 1931, Trude Petri designed the “ URBINO ” collection. Its clarity and aesthetic, achieved through deliberate omission, are inspired by what is arguably the most balanced of all shapes: the circle. Inspiration also came from the Northern Italian Renaissance and the Italian city of Urbino , which gave the collection its name. The pieces’ exceptionally thin walls convey a graceful lightness that enhances everyday enjoyment.

Have your porcelain gift-wrapped in royal blue paper with an elegant white bow. To do so, add "Gift Wrapping" to your selection in the shopping cart.
