The LAB To-go cup , made of handcrafted porcelain, is a sophisticated and sustainable companion for everyday life. With a capacity of 0.46 liters, the multifunctional cup offers enough space for your favorite coffee, tea, or other hot beverages, as well as refreshing juices or smoothies. The completely airtight lid, made of high-quality thermoplastic elastomer, is free of plasticizers—so your drink always stays fresh and neutral in taste and odor.
Inspired by 20th-century KPM laboratory porcelain, chief designer Thomas Wenzel created this multifunctional series in 2015. The To-go cup captivates with its minimalist, technical design language and the series’ characteristic feel, featuring velvety and smooth porcelain textures: While the upper part of the mug is glazed, the lower part is left unglazed. The combination of matte “ biscuit porcelain ” and smooth glazed porcelain transforms your favorite beverage into a special tactile experience.
The clear, minimalist, almost openwork Enso rim decoration breaks with the tradition of the classic, uniform colored rim. In Japanese calligraphy, Enso signifies enlightenment and elegance, strength and harmony. It depicts a brushstroke applied richly and thickly in a single motion, gradually losing intensity as it flows. This form inspired the “ decor ” Enso, which adds original accents to the LAB collection and the table setting in a variety of colors.
Lids in additional colors and matching sleeves are available separately.
