The LAB Plate 10 is a multifunctional all-rounder. As the smallest plate in the LAB series, it’s ideal for all kinds of small items that need a place on the set table—whether it’s salted butter or sweet macarons. Furthermore, the LAB Plate 10 forms the perfect pairing with the LAB “ cup ” 1B: The plate fits precisely as a lid on the “ cup ” and is also proportioned so that it can serve as a “ saucer ” for the “ cup .” The clean, minimalist, almost openwork “Enso” rim design breaks with the tradition of the classic, uniform colored rim. In Japanese calligraphy, “Enso” signifies enlightenment and elegance, strength and harmony. It depicts a brushstroke applied richly and thickly in a single, fluid motion, gradually losing intensity as it unfolds. This form served as the inspiration for the “ decor ” Enso, which adds original accents to the LAB collection and the dining table in a variety of colors.
