A bouquet in blue: With the "Édition Bleuet", KPM launches a light blue cornflower decoration. The cornflower, as simple and plain as it seems, was Queen Luise's favorite flower - she wove wreaths with her children and her grave was decorated with fresh flowers by Frederick Wilhelm - reason enough for KPM to transfer the blossoms with almost transparent brushstrokes to the iconic Luisen bust, which depicts the "good queen".

The bust of Queen Luise of Prussia was created by KPM modeller Johann Carl Frederick Riese in 1798, who based his design on Johann Gottfried Schadow's 'Prinzessinnengruppe'. Having only recently become Queen of Prussia in November 1797, the bust was KPM Berlin's response to the growing demand for portraits of the young, extremely popular queen. The classicist bust refers to antique models and depicts Queen Louise on a simple column base in a flowing robe and without any symbols of power.
