Product Information

The pastel-colored " KURLAND " Blanc Nouveau breakfast mugs create a stylish ensemble and moments of royal elegance. The production of “ KURLAND ” Blanc Nouveau Pastel involves an extraordinarily high level of craftsmanship. In a multi-step process, the relief is carefully carved out using a brush. Only after the final firing does the relief stand out visibly and tangibly from the glazed surfaces of the matte bisque porcelain. Only then can our master painters apply the delicate pastel shade stroke by stroke.

Care

To ensure that you can enjoy the delicate, masterfully hand-painted designs for a lifetime, we recommend handling them with care. The painted porcelain is generally dishwasher-safe; however, it is best to wash it by hand on a regular basis to prevent the colors from fading due to overly frequent machine washing over an extended period of time.

The painted porcelain is also microwave-safe.

A play of light and shadow, smooth surfaces, and velvety textures: The beauty of BLANC NOUVEAU fr KURLAND s can be experienced with your eyes closed and is enhanced—whether in pure white or with exclusive hand-painted designs—into a sensual delight. To mark the 250th anniversary of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin, Chief Designer Thomas Wenzel created this collection, offering a fresh way to experience the iconic “ KURLAND ” relief, which has been in existence since 1790: To bring out the relief with the utmost precision, the glaze is carefully removed by hand.
