With a diameter of 19.5 cm, the KURLAND Blanc Nouveau from KPM Berlin— biscuit porcelain with a relief border made of biscuit porcelain —is perfect for serving breakfast, appetizers, or cake. Pair it with the matching KURLAND Blanc Nouveau or tea cups stylish sets and regal moments.

The production of KURLAND Blanc Nouveau an extraordinarily high level of craftsmanship. In a multi-step process, the relief is carefully carved out using a brush. Only after the final firing does the relief stand out biscuit porcelain and tangibly from the glazed surfaces of biscuit porcelain matte biscuit porcelain .

Care

To ensure that you can enjoy the delicate, masterfully hand-painted designs for a lifetime, we recommend handling them with care. The painted porcelain is generally dishwasher-safe; however, it is best to wash it by hand on a regular basis to prevent the colors from fading due to overly frequent machine washing over an extended period of time.

Due to the metallic finishes—24k gold or glossy platinum—the porcelain is not suitable for use in the microwave.

To mark the 250th anniversary of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin, Chief Designer Thomas Wenzel created this collection, offering a fresh way to experience the iconic KURLAND relief, which has been in existence since 1790: To bring out the relief with the utmost precision, the glaze is carefully removed by hand.
