History

designer: Enzo Mari year: 1996 material: porcelain

The BERLIN collection achieves what otherwise only the city that gave its name to this unconventional design can: to create something beautiful from the symbiosis of contradictions. Developed in 1996 by the Italian designer Enzo Mari in collaboration with the designers at KPM Berlin, it harmoniously unites opposites, just as its designer once did.

The side dish from KPM Berlin is a real eye-catcher on your table. Shaped like a drop, the porcelain from Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin is the ideal bowl for serving dips or small nibbles. Measuring 12.2 x 17.6 cm, the small bowl from the BERLIN service is a small highlight on your table. It is even more eye-catching and individual with the Platinum rim and Black rim or Pianta decor. At the beginning of the 90s, KPM Berlin recruited Enzo Mari as a designer. In collaboration with the KPM Berlin master workshop, he designed the BERLIN shape, a porcelain series that combines classic shapes with new accents.
