PURE POESY

A visit to Hamburg stylist and interior designer Wolfram Neugebauer: he creates table decorations of subtle beauty. Anyone who takes a seat at his table experiences a feast for the senses. An article from the KPM WEISS Magazine No.5...

The Hamburg stylist and interior designer Wolfram Neugebauer associates a story with every piece of porcelain: he got to know KPM Berlin as a young man in a friend's house and fell in love with their ARKADIA series straight away. A love that continues to this day: The friend bequeathed him her KPM service, laying the foundations for a lifelong passion. Since then, the classic ARKADIA porcelain has never been missing from his sophisticated table decorations: It is the centerpiece of every table.

Has an unmistakable soft spot for black: stylist and interior designer Wolfram Neugebauer

Trude Petri was responsible for the design of this collection from 1938. The various motifs of the relief medallions, which are based on the ancient cameo tradition, were designed by the sculptor and porcelain modeler Siegmund Schütz: They are not only eye-catching, but also stimulate conversation at the table, Neugebauer knows: "Naiad, Neptune or shell: many of my friends have a favorite ARKADIA motif or ask about the meaning of the figures in the Biscuit." This is a charming way of bringing the stories of the dreamland of Arcadia to today's dinner table.

Black and white with a touch of silver and natural tones in the kitchen: this bowl is from the ARKADIAcollection, the white jug is from URBINO.

Wolfram Neugebauer's interior design focuses on furniture classics such as the three-armed wall light by Serge Mouille - and lots of black.
