HOW DO YOU HAVE BREAKFAST IN CHARLOTTENBURG?
Charlottenburg is a princely place. This is not only due to the palace that gives it its name, but also to this very special way of life in the City West, which always has a touch of luxury about it. You could also say that Charlottenburg is the champagne of Berlin. Just as Kreuzberg is unpretentious sparkling wine and Mitte is sophisticated crémant, the western cult district is characterized by one thing above all: Elegance and exclusivity.
This is of course a cliché - but there is definitely something to it. You can sense this when you stroll between Ku'damm, Ernst-Reuter-Platz and Einsteinufer on a beautiful Sunday. It's a great place for a stroll: For example, past the zoo and along beautiful old streets to the eponymous Charlottenburg Palace, where the centuries-old baroque garden invites you to take a stroll. If you are a good walker, you can walk the 5 km to the Großer Tiergarten along the Spree. Or take a leisurely stroll around the idyllic Lietzensee lake.
The best place to start the day is in one of the countless cafés along Kantstraße, for example on Stuttgarter Platz or Savignyplatz. There you can admire the colorful mix of Charlottenburgers and tourists. Breakfast in Charlottenburg is of course served in style with a French butter croissant, a glass of champagne and a café au lait - why not from one of our district mugs from the Colors of Berlin edition?
