It's a great place for a stroll: For example, past the zoo and along beautiful old streets to the eponymous Charlottenburg Palace, where the centuries-old baroque garden invites you to take a stroll. If you are a good walker, you can walk the 5 km to the Großer Tiergarten along the Spree. Or take a leisurely stroll around the idyllic Lietzensee lake.
The best place to start the day is in one of the countless cafés along Kantstraße, for example on Stuttgarter Platz or Savignyplatz. There you can admire the colorful mix of Charlottenburgers and tourists.
