AN INTERNSHIP DAY IN THE MANUFACTORY

KPM Berlin took part in the internship week for the first time. Since 2020, the goal of the internship week has been to provide practical insights for well-founded career orientation.

During the summer holidays, students can get to know new, exciting professional fields every day. Companies and students get to know each other in a one-day trial internship. The students change companies after each day and gain experience in different professions. As many days and companies as you want.

At the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin, four interns had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes and learn about the profession of industrial ceramicist. The day began with the interns getting to know each other in the Einstein Café on the factory premises together with managing director Martina Hacker . The first insights into the processes at KPM were then given during a tour of production and painting . The interns were then allowed to immerse themselves in the processes at the factory and work actively to get a feel for the job. After the work was done, there was a short historical review of theKPM history .
