In 1931, Trude Petri designed the URBINO collection. Its clarity and aesthetics, created through consistent omission, are based on the most balanced of all forms: the circle. Inspiration was also provided by the Upper Italian Renaissance and the Italian city of Urbino as the namesake of the collection. The special thinness of the pieces conveys a delicate lightness that supports everyday enjoyment.

The half-height URBINO espresso cup made of thin-walled KPM porcelain draws very little heat from the coffee. In addition, porcelain has low thermal conductivity and therefore keeps the drink hot for a long time. The half-height, gently rounded shape allows the aroma of the espresso to develop optimally. The cup shape is also ideal for coffee specialties such as espresso macchiato, caffè corretto or small brown coffee.

With the Multicolore decor, URBINO presents itself in a colorful interpretation. Exterior and surfaces designed by the KPM master painters in a uniform, rich color scheme are surrounded by fine borders in 24-carat gold.
