The minimalist-technical design language of the LAB series is inspired by KPM laboratory porcelain from the 20th century and has been consistently further developed by chief designer Thomas Wenzel since 2015 for the modern kitchen laboratory. The multifunctional line impresses equally with its timeless design and its exceptional feel. All members of the constantly growing LAB family can be recognized by the chrome green stamp mark and the lettering "BERLIN".

Following the LAB salt and pepper shakers, KPM Berlin has added two aesthetically functional spice mills to the series. As is typical for the products in the multifunctional LAB range, the spice mills, for example for salt and pepper, also impress with a sensual haptic experience, which is created by the glossy-smooth glazed porcelain surface of the mill body and the natural surface of the real wood handle. Light oak and dark-stained oak are used for the handles. The spice mills can be easily filled through a large opening and have a wide, secure stand as well as a gradually adjustable grinder. The LAB spice mills for the modern kitchen are available individually and as a set.
