30 YEARS IN BERLIN

Radically simplified. Timelessly precise

For 30 years, the BERLIN collection has been synonymous with a design language that consistently eschews all superfluity. Designed by Enzo Mari, it unites opposites into a clear design philosophy: austere and sensual, minimalist and expressive, rational and yet deeply human.

To mark the anniversary, the BERLIN espresso cup is being released in its most uncompromising version.

No handle. No saucer. No glaze.

What remains is the essence: form, proportion, and material. The unglazed, sandblasted Biscuit gives the surface an exceptionally velvety, almost textile-like feel. Every touch is palpable—conscious, immediate, unadulterated.

The collection comprises two complementary sets for espresso and doppio. Its minimalist design is not a passing trend, but rather a philosophy rooted in longevity. It is precisely in its simplicity that it reveals a timeless elegance that endures far beyond the moment.

Limited to 300 pieces worldwide, this edition serves as a rare tribute to Enzo Mari, one of the most influential designers of the 20th century—and to a collection that, like its namesake, embodies the tension between contrasts.
