Service Klaviyo
We use Klaviyo on our website. Klaviyo is a service for our email marketing. The service provider is the American company Klaviyo, 125 Summer St, Boston, MA 02110, USA. Klaviyo also processes personal data in the USA, among other places. We must point out that, according to the decision of the European Court of Justice and the opinion of the Conference of Independent Data Protection Supervisory Authorities of the Federal Government and the federal states of July 28, 2020 (Schrems 2), there is currently no adequate level of data protection for data transfer to the USA. This can be associated with various risks for lawfulness and security from a data protection perspective. As a basis for data processing by recipients based in third countries (outside the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and especially in the USA) or a data transfer to such countries, Klaviyo uses standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission (= Art. 46 Para. 2 and 3 GDPR). These clauses oblige Klaviyo to comply with the EU data protection level when processing relevant data even outside the European Union. Transfer of personal data to third parties
