With "Introspectus" the KPM Berlin and the Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin meet again to have the pure white KPM canvas edited again by an internationally successful art avant-garde artist after the collaborations with Stefan Marx and Jean Jullien: Starting in October 2018, illustrator Eline van Dam, alias Zeloot, will interpret the vase classic CADRE from 1967.
With the KPM+ format, the Berlin-based manufactory has institutionalised a kind of docking station for the creative dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary art. Together with SZ-Magazin, this approach was transferred between Zeloot and KPM Berlin under the title "Introspectus" into four different versions of the CADRE vase. The vases of the limited Artist-Edition show in sizes 0 to 3 Zeloots classical characters, which are in a state of self- and external reflection.

Eline van Dam follows the idea that people can experience the most diverse thoughts, emotions and memories, which are reflected in their facial features, with her striking face illustrations in form and colour.
