It must have been a happy moment when Frederick II signed the contract of sale on 19 September 1763. It was the birth of the KPM Berlin. Seven kings and emperors owned the manufactory.
Only those who perfectly understand their craft are able to create perfect masterpieces of lasting value. It takes 25 work steps, which are carried out in 14 working days by the manufactorers, to produce a piece of porcelain with KPM's high standards. With ten quality controls, each piece is selected by hand.
